Supply Chain Risk Management

In close collaboration with the client and typically working with a small team of subject matter experts:

  • Analyse the Supply Chain: analyse the primary and secondary supply chains, identify potential critical points of failure, the threats that may arise at each stage and define the tolerance of the business to disruption
  • Develop Contingency Plans: as with the BIA methodology, select appropriate mitigation measures and contingency plans to cope with the risks to the critical points of failure
  • Draft a Contingency Plan … record the mitigation measures and response actions in a written Supply Chain Contingency Plan
  • Training: conduct regular training and exercises to rehearse supply chain managers and key third party providers so as to ensure shared awareness and organisational preparedness
